Stillpoint didn't begin as a product. It began as a bespoke CRM built for a real client — a business whose sales pipeline, quoting and customer records had to live entirely on its own infrastructure rather than in a third-party cloud. That wasn't a preference; it was a requirement of how they operate.
So we built it where their data already was: inside WordPress. Pipelines, deals, quotes and invoices, a team inbox, automations — all writing to their own database, on their own server. Then it did the thing bespoke software rarely gets to do: it ran in production, day in and day out, with real money moving through it. Edge cases surfaced, reporting got sharper, the invoicing got stricter, and the WooCommerce side grew out of genuine store operations rather than a feature list.
Once it had been hardened that way, generalising it was the obvious next step. Every client-specific assumption became a setting, a custom field or a pipeline configuration, and the result is the plugin we sell today — a complete CRM that any business can install on its own WordPress site in an afternoon.
